This is the Hurricane (Pierre and C-R)

                                               Hurricane Carter

Dears, readers today we gonna talk about the story of an Hurricane victim of segregation in the 60's but sympol of hope and of the fight against the racism :

Rubin "Hurricane" Carter (May 6, 1937 – April 20, 2014) was an black American boxer. (He was in the top ten at all year of his career) But in June 1966, in a bar in Paterson, New Jersey, a bartender and two customers were killed.
So,4 whitnesses see the murder two  little offenders and 2 people a man and a woman (they have seen 2 black man in a white car).
The car corresponds with the description of the car of Rubin Carter.

-So after, a lot of suspect events happened :
-The whitnesses don’t recognize Carter and his friend (Artis) etc....
-The offenders (Alfred Bello and Arthur Dexter Bradley) reconsider her decision and identify Carter and his friend (Artis) has the two killers.

The June 29, 1967, Carter and Artis were convicted of triple murder by a jury with 100% of white people and her sentence was the perpetuity.

So, Rubin Carter writes an autobiography and received a lot of support by the media and by a lot of celebrities in this celebrities we found Mohammed Ali and Bob Dylan.
Bob Dylan wrote a song for support Carter in Jail the title of the song was “Hurricane” in 1975.
(Number 1 in billboard during 5 weeks http://www.billboard.com/charts/hot-100)

We can find a lot of strong words in this song :
"The man the authorities came to blame                                                                  something that he never done.”

-Bob Dylan were convincing by the innocence of Carter

“ And another man named Bello moving around mysteriously
I didn't do it he says and he throws up his hands
I was only robbing the register I hope you understand

-Bob Dylan show us the lack of credibility of Bello and Bradley

“No one doubted that he pulled the trigger
And though they could not produce the gun
The lawyer said he was the one who did the deed
And the all-white jury agreed”

-Here, Bob Dylan was not convincing by the jury. For him the jury was not impartial

So, the song of Bob Dylan tells us the story of the arrestation of Hurricane Carter. This arrestation was not serious for Bob Dylan. The whitnesses was young offenders, the jury was 100% white.
There is not enough evidence.
For Dylan Rubin Carter was innocent and a victim of the racism in the 60’s. (the 60’s symbolize the official end of segregation in USA but between official and reality….).
Another people support Hurricane and Artis anonymous crowds, celebrities and in 1999 a movie with Denzel Washington

Artis and Carter was liberated after approximately 20 years of jailing.
