Dear readers, Today i want to post an article about one of my favorite Pink Floyd song ,Another brick in the wall part 2. In fact i want to show you the other side of this song because the most of time people listening this song as an ordinary song but it's not. Let's appreciate:

Another birck in the wall part 2 was composed by the british band Pink Floyd and was sang by a group 23 children aged between 13 and 15 years old and David Gilmours. It appears in the album «The Wall » This album was released in 1979. This band is composed of many musicians like David Gilmour (electric guitar), Roger Waters (bass), Nick Masson (drum) and Rick Wright (synthesizer)

Through the lyrics of Another brick in the wall part 2, Roger Waters criticized the rules and disciplinary sanctions applicated by the professors of schools in the 1950', solicitating in the united kingdom. This mecontantement is explain by negativ phrases like «We don't need no education» or « No dark sarcasm in the classroom». Then the phrase "Hey teatcher, leave the kids alone" is a shout which explain the revolution. It aspires to change the terms of learning. The song is built from many musical elements like the "cocotte funky" influenced by the wafe of disco. It's repeated fourteen times to the "hey teatcher leave the kids alone". It can be compared to the many bricks in the wall and the repetition of the movements of the children at school. Pink Floyd uses the rock'n'roll (movement counterculture) to accentuate their displeasure. This song reflects the childhood of Roger Waters, in fact Waters hated his teatchers because in his opinion his teatchers were more interested to carry on the reign of terror in school than transmited informations to the students. At the end of the song we can hear that David Gilmour is speaking. It represents the autority of teatchers. David Gilmour shout "eat you meat" for example.
The single as well as the album The Wall were banned in south Africa in 1980 after the song was adopted by supporters of a nationwide school boycott prosteting racial inequities in education under the apartheid regime.

Lyrics :

We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.

We don't need no education
We dont need no thought control
No dark sarcasm in the classroom
Teachers leave them kids alone
Hey! Teachers! Leave them kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.
"Wrong, Do it again!"
"If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding. How can you
have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat?"
"You! Yes, you behind the bikesheds, stand still laddy!
